The best of Lima and the National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru "The most complete of Lima".

We will pick you up from your hotel in Lima, visiting the most traditional residential areas of the capital: Parque Del Amor, a privileged spot to appreciate a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. You will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological site built in the 4th century AD. Then we will continue towards Olivar Park in the district of San Isidro. Next we will continue our journey towards the historical center of Lima. The Paseo de la República, San Martin Square and the Plaza Mayor, with its distinctive buildings: Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica and the Municipal Palace. Finally we will enter the Convent of San Francisco, which is the largest exhibition of colonial religious art in America. The Choral Room and the Monks' Library, the Sacristy, with its collection of paintings by Zurbarán and Rivera can be appreciated. The Great Court of the Main Cloister, finely decorated with sevillian tiles from the 16th century, its beautiful Moorish arches and the underground Crypts, known as the Catacombs, where you will feel the presence of the colonial past. Continuing our sightseeing tour we will visit a beautiful viceregal mansion containing the most important collections of gold, ceramics, textiles and art from pre-Columbian Peru (Archaeological and Anthropological Museum).

Located in a Viceregal mansion, old residence place of Viceroys and Liberators. Here some famous stone monuments of the formative period (1000 BD.), the "Estela Raimondi" and the "Obelisco Tello" are preserved. In its various rooms we present the most important collections from the pre-ceramic period to the Inca period. Finishing the visit of this museum we finished our full day tour.
